Work as a Safety Observer/Spotter

Course Overview
This course has been designed for persons involved in road building, road maintenance, Bitumen sheeting, or Civil construction earthworks, mining, quarrying. Including those who may work, supervise, or manage those who may be required to work in the vicinity of Road works.

It aims to provide participants with the underpinning knowledge to be able to recognize and ensure the requirements of a safe work environment in relation to or near road maintenance, Bitumen sheeting, or Civil construction earthworks.

"Safety Observer/Spotter" means a person who has enough safety knowledge and experience to ensure that pedestrians, workers, vehicles & machinery are kept a safe distance from the road building machinery.
